I have a fair grasp of what we are supposed to accomplish in project 3. I, along with most college youth with an internet connection, am familiar with the wide range of Web 2.0 sites and their inherent styles, purposes, and formats.
I am not absolutely sure what kind of identity I would like to create for my fictional persona, but I understand the concept of creating a fictional character to be represented through the means of these websites. It is interesting to think of creating a fictional persona on the sites where people attempt to portray their real selves.
One idea I have for a fictonal persona is creating a stereotypically conservative persona, both politically and ideologically. This person made be a wealthy, white male of perhaps attractive stature. This persons conservative beleifs and attitudes would be a blatant part of their identity and essentially consume others impression of them.
I guess that sounds like a Stephen Colbert.
On the other hand, before I fully develop a persona for this project, I would like to think of some original and eccentric identity to develop for an example of how many strange people there are out there portraying themselves on the internet.
To what extent does our fictional person need their relations developed?
Pictures?
